Students who are able to successfully identify the different types of data will have a better understanding of how to interpret and assess different variables. Identifying these properties is the fundamental level of introductory statistics. Students will be introduced to Qualitative and Quantitative data when learning about statistics beginning in grade 7th and increasingly in high school.

Students will be introduced to Qualitative and Quantitative data when learning about statistics beginning in grade 7th and increasingly in high school.
After reading the chapter on Qualitative and Quantitative data, find a partner and together try and identify different examples of Qualitative and Quantitative variables and create a graphic organizer for your findings! Use images and experiment with different designs to create an attractive organizer.
